GCMHP Provides Training In Psychological Support for teachers of Disability Rehabilitation Society

A training day was provided for teachers working at the Rehabilitation Society for the People with Disability in Khan Younis.

The training program focused on following themes:

·        Psychological counselling, mental health and enhancing its role in society.

·        Problems that students suffer from (psychological aspect) and the impact of these problems on academic achievement and how to overcome them

·        The impact of the war on students and how to help students to continue their academic achievements with the help and guidance of teachers and parents

·        Behavioural issues that students suffer from and how to overcome them.

·        Guidance and instructions were provided to teachers to help students. 

At the end of the training, the space was given for the participants raise their questions and suggest their recommendations.

Before the closure of the session, the training was evaluated in terms of (material, trainer and method).
