GCMHP psychological first aid teams continues to provide its service in Al-Fajr Camp for displaced people in Al-Mawasi Area of Khan Yunis Town, as part of its ongoing commitment to providing psychological services to affected families.
The teams work in field to provide psychological counseling and psychosocial support to individuals and families, in addition to educating the local community about the importance of mental health and ways to enhance it and cope with the crisis situation.
These field visits aims also at identifying and referral cases that requires specialized interventions.
The PFA teams focus on raising the awareness of the affected people, distributing necessary supplies, and providing direct and indirect support to the displaced to alleviate the psychological challenges they face.
The team members stressed that these efforts come in the context of the ongoing response to the emergency psychological needs of individuals affected by the current situation, highlighting the importance of community solidarity in such difficult circumstances.
