GCMHP has carried out PFA visits to displaced families in Khan Yunis, southern the Gaza Strip, as part of the efforts to alleviate the suffering of the people and identify cases that need referral for specialized psychotherapy.
The PFA teams have also offered toys to the children to help them reestablish their play environment which has been lost during the war and the huge burden they have had to shoulder to support their families manage their mundane matters.
GCMHP insists on making all possible efforts to complete its mission in providing its multiple mental health services, which include psychological first aid, identifying difficult psychological cases, and referring them to receive specialized psychological treatment in the its centers, in order to strengthen the steadfastness of Gaza community, which suffers from inhumane conditions and a bloody war that has caused worse deterioration in the mental health in the Gaza Strip, which was already facing major challenges before this war due to the siege and the continual acts of aggression.
