IMD Delegation Visits GCMHP To Explore Opportunity of Partnership

Within the efforts made to enhance networking and cooperation in the provision of mental health and psychosocial support, a delegation from International Medical Corps (IMD) has visited Gaza Community Mental Health Programme.

The delegation, which included Mission Director Mr Alonzo Wind, and MHPSS Coordinator Jasem Humeid, met with General Director of GCMHP, Dr Yasser Abu Jamei to get introduce to the services provided to Gaza population and exchange experience in the field of mental health.

During their meeting the two sides explored future opportunities of cooperation and partnership to reinforce the delivery of mental health and psychosocial services in the Gaza Strip and  serve a wider sector of the community whose need for mental health intervention is on the rise due to the complex sociopolitical situation.
