OCHA Delegation Meets with GCMHP Management To Discuss Cooperation

A delegation from OTCHA has visited Gaza Community Mental Health Programme in the context of Enhancing cooperation and mutual work.

The delegation included both Mr, Noël Tsekouras, Director of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and Mr Hamada Al-Bayari, Officer of the United Nations Office of Humanitarian Affairs, who met with Dr Yasser Abu Jamie, Director General, and Mr Qusai Abu Odeh, Director of the External Relations and Resources Development.

During their meeting, they focused on the mental health state of Gaza population in light of the humanitarian situation. The meeting also included a briefing  on the projects conducted in cooperation with OCHA.

In addition, they discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and agreed on holding  further meetings to keep following up on any new developments.
