Dr Abu Jamei Delivers Lecture Entitled ‘Trauma And Hope’ In Birkbeck Uni of London

GCMHP’s Director General, Dr Yasser Abu Jamei, delivered on Thursday, May 25 a lecture  entitled "Trauma and Hope" at the Birkbeck University of London.

The presentation, attended by academics, students and  individuals interested in the Palestinian Cause, included explanation of the mental health situation in the Gaza Strip and the nature of the interventions and services provided to the population, who is facing huge mental health challenges due to the continuing aggression and state of uncertainty.  

Dr Abu Jamei's tour in the United Kingdom come as part of the efforts made by GCMHP to champion the need for supporting mental health and human rights in Palestine.
