GCMHP Department of Training and Scientific Research has held on Tuesday, March 14, 2022 an admission test for the applicants of Higher Diploma Community Mental Health Programme in partnership with the College of Education at the Islamic University.
The test, prepared and supervised by the British Council, was attended by 107 female and male applicants from different specializations (medicine, nursing, Physiotherapy, sociology, social service, psychology, and psychological counselling) as an initial stage for selecting 15 male and female students to study in the Diploma programme.
It is scheduled to hold personal interviews for those who will have obtained the required scores in the language skills exam after the holy month of Ramadan.
The exam took place in the computer halls of the Islamic University, and was supervised by representatives from Gaza Community Mental Health Programme, and the College of Education at the Islamic University.
The Higher Community Mental Health Diploma is an academic programme that is done in preparatory phase for a master's degree. It includes theoretical and practical studies and training. The programme lasts for two years, and has been provided since 1997, during which time24 cohorts have been graduated.
