National Society For Rehabilitation Collaborates with GCMHP for MH Intervention

Representing the National Society for Rehabilitation, Ms Afaf Ahmad, has visited on Sunday, June 20, 2021 Gaza Community Mental Health Programme to arrange cooperation from providing specialzed mental health interventions for people affected in the recent aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Ms Ahmad has met with Mr Qusai Abu Odei, Director of External Relations and Fund Raising Department; Ms Nadia Madi, Head of Public Relations and Media Unit; and Ms Aisha Al-Basyouni, Head of Projects Unit.

During their meeting, the guidelines for providing specialized mental health interventions has been put. The these interventions will taget 50 people from the groups affected by the recent Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip and as well as other people with disabilities.

In addition, it has been agreed to provide groups professional supervision sessions for the NSR staff members.

This meeting will be followed by other meetings to arrange for the actual implementation of the interventions.
