Al-Hilal Sports Club Visits GCMHP to give Recognition

A delegation from Al-Hilal Sports Club visited on Monday, March 31, 2021 Gaza Community Mental Health Programme to show appreciation for the latter’s “great cooperation” with their club in implementing the second phase of ‘Sports for Smile’ Project.

The delegation which included Mr Ayed Abu Ramada, head of the club; Mr Amer Abu Ramadan, vice head of the club; and Mr Madhat Abu Ramadan, director of the sports academy, was received by Dr Yasser Abu Jamei, Director General; Qusai Abu Odei, Director of External Relations and Resource Development; Rawya Hamam, Director of Scientific Training and Research Department; and Dr Suheila Abu Jelala.

The two sides discussed during their meeting their plans for future cooperation and expressed their satisfaction with the results of ‘Sports for Smile Phase-2’ project which is funded by the GIZ.

The project lasted from 15 December 2019 to 15 May, 2021, targeting 500 female and male children across the Gaza Strip.
