Gaza Community Mental Health
Programme has conducted on 27 May, 2021 a refresher training on Psychological
First Aid techniques and referral protocols, in collaboration with the
General Administration of Family Affairs of the Ministry of Social Development.
The 4-hour training session was provided for 400 psychologists from local and international organizations across the Gaza Strip.
The five groups, each consisted of 70 to 90 people, were mainly formed from Child Protection counselors and psychological first aid workers who work in partner organizations.

He also expressed his appreciation for Gaza Community Mental Health Programme and the other partner organisations for their cooperation and the organization that have been done to avoid duplication in service provision.
Mr Mowafi also said that a field work plan has
been put, with all roles distributed between the actors based on the area and
how badly it has been affected by the crisis situation so as to start providing
PFA services, under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Development, starting
from next Sunday, 30 May, 2021.
