GCMHP Participates in Case Conference by Maana Centre

A group mental health specialists from Gaza Community Mental Health Programme has participated on Monday, February 1, 2021 in a case conference organized by Maana Psychotherapy and Counselling Centre of Nazareth Hospital.

The conference is the first of its kind to bring together specialists from Gaza and others from inside the Green Line, giving them both the opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge from different contexts.

The conference aimed at understanding psychosocial implications through analysing and discussing a clinical case of a child who is suffering from multiple losses, and also through analysing the therapeutic process of the child’s family.

At the end of the case conference, Mr Rawya Hamam, Director of GCMHP Department of Training and Scientific Research thanked, in behalf of herself and her colleagues, Ms Najlaa Asmar and everybody on the meeting for giving success to the conference.
