GCMHP Training and Sientific Research Dep. Provides Lecture on Counselling for MH Diploma Students – 2020 Cohort

GCMHP Training and Scientific Research Department held a lecture on Thursday, September 3, 2020 on “Psychological counselling” via Google Meet.

The lecture, delivered to the Mental Health High Diploma students, was conducted by Dr Anwar Al-Abadsa, from the Psychology Department at the Islamic University.

This lecture is the Third of a series of online mental health lectures that have been planned to be delivered through Google Meet medium and which kicked off 5 weeks earlier.

The lectures are being conducted according to their set plan without being affected by the emergency situation that has been declared after identifying tens of Covid-19 cases in the Gaza Strip.

The fourth lecture, on ‘community mental health’ is to be delivered through Google Meet on Sunday next week. It is conducted by Dr Samir Zaqout. Following this lecture, on Wednesday, GCMHP psychologist khitam Abu Shawareb, is giving a lecture on ‘social psychology’, using the same medium.

These online lectures started 5 weeks before the declared state of emergency and is to be continued as planned without being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
