Gaza Community Mental Health Programme concludes Training Workshop entitled “The Strategic Model of Family Therapy”
GCMHP concludes a Training Workshop entitled “The Strategic Model of Family Therapy”
The Training and Research Department of GCMHP recently concluded the third training workshop entitled “The Strategic Model of Family Therapy”, with the participation of 17 professionals and workers in the Community Centers. The workshop was implemented by Prof. Guido Veronese from University of Milan Bicocca in Italy. The main topics of the training workshops were; tools of psychological diagnose of the family, techniques of converting the symptoms, positive wording of symptoms as well as practicing the implementation of the strategic model of family therapy.
The workshop was conducted over the course of four days including 20 training hours on a number of important topics. The main topics of the training workshops were; tools of psychological diagnose of the family, techniques of converting the symptoms, positive wording of symptoms as well as practicing the implementation of the strategic model of family therapy.
During the closing ceremony, Ms. Rawya Hamam, Director of the Training and Research Department, paid attribute to Mr. Veronese for his valued efforts and for sharing his scientific experience to the participants. Ms. Hamam also appreciated the participants’ commitment interaction during the workshop and encouraged them to exchange what they have learnt with others.
At the end of the ceremony, Ms. Rawya Hamam, Mr. Marwan Diab, Head of Research Unit and Ms. Inas Jouda, Head of Training and Capacity Building Unit distributed the certificates and training materials to the participants.
