GCMHP provides psychodrama supervision training for partner organizations

GCMHP’s department of Scientific Research and Training has concluded a psychodrama supervisory workshop in cooperation with Medico International – Switzerland.

Twenty Professionals from the Medical Relief Society, the Islamic Relief, the CFTA, Basma Society for Culture and Arts, Aisha Association for woman & Child protection, and GCMHP participated in the 8-day workshop which was conducted by the Swiss experts Ursula Hauser and Maya Katharina from Medico International – Switzerland.

The workshop, which included 30 hours of training, focused on how to follow up the psychodrama supervisory sessions for both adults and children.

During the workshop, the participants shared their personal and professional experiences and their predictions of the future psychodrama. They also had a practical training on how to review the implementation process of psychodrama and explored ways to address some key challenges that occur frequently.

At the end of the training workshop Ms Rawya Hamam, head of Scientific Research and Training department, and Ms Inas Juda, head of Capacity Building Unit handed out certificates to the participants. Certificates of recognition were also handed out to the international trainers.
