GCMHP Department of Training and Scientific Research has conducted a ‘family therapy’ supervision meeting via videoconferencing, a technique that is being used now to conform with the social distancing rules.
The Italian professor Guido Veronese, specialist in family therapy, together with a group of specialists from Gaza Community Mental Health Programme attended this meeting, which comes within a series of monthly meetings that are arranged to discuss and follow up family cases.
Mr Mohammad Al-Zeir, Head of the Unit of Academic and Professional Programmes, has presented a case and a therapy plan that is being administered to this case. He explained the types of interventions that have been done.
Such meetings will continue to be held on a monthly basis to discuss further cases.
