Awareness Meeting On Positive Return for The Displaced

Following the ceasefire which was concluded after 471 days of genocidal war on Gaza and as citizens prepare to return to their homes, an awareness meeting entitled ‘Positive Return to Homes’ was held in Deir Al-Balah to provide the displaced families with tips on safe return to home.

The meeting, attended by 29 women and 25 men, between 18 and 48 years old, addressed some steps and guidelines for safe return to homes.

These guidelines included tips on how parents can protect their children from being lost amidst the crowds of people, for example making sure that they wear badges that includes the child's name and a mobile number in case a child gets lost while travelling. They also included tips on avoiding strange bodies and war leftovers, and to abide by the instructions issued by the authorities concerned with crisis management.
