GCMHP Provides PFA Training for Animators Working with Children

The Scientific Research Department at Gaza Community Mental Health Programme held, on Sunday, 15 December 2024, a training course on psychological PFA in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage.

The training was attended by for 22 female animators, and it was opned in the presence of both the director of the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage and the head of the volunteer file and psychological counseling at the center.

During the opening session GCMHP’s activities and services were introduced as well as the objectives of the training.

 The course aims focused on:

1. The concept and skills of psychological first aid

2. Psychological first aid skills

3. The concept and techniques of self-care.

At the end of the course, the training material was distributed in addition to a certificate of the course for each participant.
