PFA Teams Deployed In Mauasi Khan Younis Area for Psychosocial Intervention And Case Identification And Referral

In the context of the interventions carried out by Gaza Community Mental Health Programme to support displaced families in various areas in the souith, First psychological Aid teams provided their psychological service in the Mawasi Khan Younis area in Al-Amal Refugee Camp.

This type of intervention aims to help those affected to deal with their circumstances in a way that reduces its severity on their mental health.

These interventions also aim to detect and refer psychological cases that require specialised psychological intervention and transfer them to GCMHP’s centre, where the multidisciplinary team provide them with psycho and drug therapy based on a therapy plan.
