As
part of the efforts made to deal with the psychological effects of the current
war on the Gaza Strip, GCMHP continues to hold psychological Awareness sessions
for displaced families, in addition to other primary psychological activities.
The public awareness meetings, conducted inside the tents of displaced families in Deir al-Balah Town, addressed several topics related to self-care and how to deal with psychological pressures and stressful situation caused by the emergency situation of the war.
This activity one of the other types of activities carried out by GCMHP (such as psychological first aid, discovery and referral, capacity building of institutions working in the psychosocial support sector, and other rehabilitative and therapeutic activities).
