Representatives  from UNRWA’s  Relief and Social Services Programme Visit GCMHP To Exchange Experience in Service Provision

GCMHP has recently received a number of representatives of the branch offices (East Gaza Office and South Gaza Office) of UNRWA’s Relief and Social Services Programme, within the framework of exchanging experiences in the  work mechanisms of providing psychosocial support to the different social categories, as well as discussing ways of cooperation.

Mr Qusai Abu Odeh, Director of the External Relations and Resource Development Department, and Ms. Aisha Al-Basiouni, Head of the Projects and Fundraising Unit in the program, met with the representatives of these branch offices who discussed the nature of psychological illnesses  and the patients’ dire need for therapeutic services.

Mr Abu Odeh  explained how these services are made available and accessible to the population, especially in the marginalized areas, through cooperation with other service providers.
