In Cooperation with MoE and Welfare Association, GCMHP Provides Training Course on Children's Mental Health

The Training and Scientific Research Department of Gaza Community Mental Health Programme has concluded a training course on "Child's Mental Health", in which 14 counsellors and governmental school principals participated.

This course, conducted by specialized GCMHP MH trainers, aimed to provide the participants with knowledge and skills about dealing with the psychological impact of family dispute on children.

This four-day course, consisting of 20 training hours, included important topics about:case management, referral mechanisms, and the psychological analysis of children’s drawings.

The training course comes within project’s ‘School-Based Counselling Programme for Traumatised Young Children in Gaza,” which GCMHP implements in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Gaza, and Welfare Association.
