Final Touches Put on MEAL System

Gaza Community Mental Health Programme held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 a technical meeting to discuss and finalize the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system, whose design began at the beginning of 2022 in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The meeting included Dr Yasser Abu Jamei, Director General; Dr Tayseer Diab, Deputy Director General for Professional Affairs, and a group of head of departments and units at GCMHP. Attended the meeting from GIZ, Mr Nizar Al-Wazir, Advisor to Community Empowerment Program.

A presentation of the stages of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning System was made by Spectrum Advisory Company, through which it explained the manual of the system and its details. In addition, the company discussed with the attendees the future suggestions for computerizing this system.

Dr Abu Jamei said than you to the the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), for the technical and financial support they provided to implement this system, and also expressed his gratitude for the distinguished efforts made by the consultancy company in implementing this system.

The MEAL system aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided by the to the targeted groups by GCMHP.
