The Italian family therapy expert, Professor Dr Guido Veronese, from the
University of Milan Bicocca has started his academic training agenda which he
implements on his 11-day visit to Gaza Community Mental Health Program.
During his visit, which lasts from 15 to 26 July, Professor Guido, provides academic training for GCMHP students and discusses researches conducted by GCMHP. His agenda also includes professional supervision meeting with family therapy teams.
Professor
Veronese is accompanied by family therapy PhD student, Rachel Pancake, from the
USA, who is studying family therapy programmes in conflict zones. They are both
to organize a family therapy workshop that will be attended by partner mental
health and psychosocial support organizations.
