German Agency for International Cooperation Visits GCMHP To Follow Up on Joint Project

A delegation from the German Agency for International Cooperation visited on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 Gaza Community Mental Health Programme in order to review the latest developments of the joint project that is currently being implemented within programme “Strengthening the Influence of the Palestinian Refugees on Their Living Conditions” (BART), as well as to discuss the lessons learned and the achievements made during the implementation period over the past year.

The delegation which included Mr. Sami Mura, Senior Advisor for programme “Strengthening the Influence of Palestinian Refugees in Their Living Conditions”; and Ms. Hana Abu Nahla, GIZ consultant; met with Dr. Yasser Abu Jamei, GCMHP General Director; Mr. Qusai Abuodeh, Director of the External Relations and Resources Development Department; and Ms. Aisha El Bassiouni, Head of Projects Unit to discuss issues related to the joint project at the level of achievements, challenges and future plans.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Abuodeh took the delegation on a tour inside GCMHP headquarters and  Gaza Community Centre to see the types of mental health services provided and how they are delivered to the population.
