School Students Visit GCMHP To Learn about The Concept of Mental Health

A delegation of students from the School of Elites has visited on Wednesday, 16 February 2022 Gaza Community Mental Health programme in order to learn about the concept of mental health and the services provided to support the psychological wellbeing of Gaza community as well as the activities and campaigns carried out to promote human rights.

The delegation, consisting of 30 students, was received by a group of specialists who accompanied it in an introductory tour at GCMHP departments to show them the roles of each of these departments. They were introduced to the different mental health services and the way they are provided to the population.

The students had also the opportunity to learn about the collective work done by GCMHP to support the different social groups, especially the vulnerable ones, and how advocacy and awareness campaigns organized to champion their rights.
