GCMHP Organizes “Their-Rights-Are-Our-Commitment” Campaign on the World Children’s Day

Gaza Community Mental Health Programme has launched a holistic campaign in support of children’s rights, on the occasion of the World Children’s Day, which is marked every year on November 20, to promote the awareness of the whole community about the necessity of protecting children.

The campaign, hashtagged as ‘Their Rights are Our commitment’,  is designed to monopolize the efforts of all partner organizations and stakeholders, whether governmental or NGOs, working in the field of mental health and psychosocial support, and human rights to put more focus on the children issues so as to guarantee their rights and wellbeing.

The campaign includes a host of activities and educational media materials that are publicized both online and offline.

The campaign also comprises a talk show, prepared by GCMHP’s mental health specialists, to discuss issues about the psychological wellbeing of the children; an educational video about the danger of violence against children; educational billboards in vital public places across the Gaza Strip as well as other awareness materials that are published on digital media platforms.

The campaign comes as part of GCMHP’s social responsibility towards supporting the less privileges and vulnerable groups of the community and also in promotion of human rights and the psychological wellbeing of the community.
