GCMHP Provides Training on ‘The Mechanisms of Dealing with Children and Adolescents under Covid-19’

GCMHP Training and Scientific Research Department has concluded on November 9, 2020, two training sessions on the ‘Mechanisms of Dealing with Children and Adolescents under Covid-19’ in collaboration with Basma Society for Culture and Arts.

The training, which was delivered by GCMHP’s psychologist Bushra Abu Leila, opened the space for the professionals of the partner organization to review their professional practices based on ‘I Deal' manual, which they have been trained to administer.

During the training the participants discussed their achievements and the challenges they faced during the application of the manual, which was modified to the nature of their work.

They also reviewed GCMHP referral protocols.

In addition to that the training included the method of managing ‘sexual orientation’ sessions, and answering sexuality related questions.

Practicing Self-care and mechanisms of reducing stress at work was also part of the 5-hour training.
