GCMHP Finalizes Training on Dealing with Children in Crisis Situation
In the course of its effort to build the capacity of professionals working in the field of mental health and human rights, GCMHP has finalized the provision of a training course on ‘the Mechanisms of Dealing with Children and Adolescents in Covid-19 Crisis’.
The training aimed at providing the participants with knowledge on children’s and adolescents’ most important psychological and physiological changes; the referral mechanisms of GCMHP, and the main concepts of case management.
The 10-hour training course was attended by13 participants from Basma Society for Culture and Arts.
The closing session of the training was delivered by both Psychologist Bushra Abu Laila, who conducted the training, and Rawya Hamam, Director of Training and Scientific Research Department. They thanked the participants for their commitment and listened to their feedback on the training.
The trainees on their part, expressed their satisfaction on the value that the training has added to their experience in dealing with children during their work as artists and performers.
