supervision skills training in collaboration with NRC
Gaza Community Mental Health Programme concluded on Monday, 20 August, 2019, a training course on the skills of providing professional supervision.
The training, which targeted supervisors from the Ministry of Education, aimed at providing the participants with knowledge about the types and functions of supervisions as well as communication skills and conflict resolution.
Practical exercises were used in the training with the aim of boosting the participants understanding of the different techniques used in the supervision process. The participants also had the opportunity to exchange their professional experiences and learnt lessons.
The training, in addition, included knowledge about the guidance and developmental supervision and helped the supervisors increase their self-awareness.
