The trainings were designed to provide the participating professionals with CBT techniques, and information on how to handle challenges that might occur during their work with clients.
The trainings also aimed at orienting the participants on implementing problem solving techniques and coping strategies.
Professor Ashraf kaji, from South Africa, conducted these trainings via ‘Zoom’ technology due to Covid-19 emergency situation which has made his physical presence unfeasible.
Ms rawya Hamam, Director of the Training and Research Department, who attended the closure ceremony together with other staff members, thanked Mr Kaji for the efforts he has done over the entire period of the training.
GCMHP provides professional trainings for professionals from the community who work in the field of mental health and human rights, with aim of building their capacities and improving their skills so they can make better quality interventions.
